HIK Berlin e.V. is a non-profit organization with recognized sponsorship according to § 75 SGB VIII and has been committed to helping people with diverse support needs in Berlin for many years. Our goal is to promote equal opportunities, participation, and social integration for people with and without a migration background. The individual, their individual life situation, and their resources are always at the center of our actions.

Our offers are aimed at children, young people, adults and families with various social, psychological or migration-related challenges. With a multi-professional team of Social workers, educators, lawyers, psychologists, sociologists and language mediators We offer a wide range of qualified support services

Our facilities and offerings include in particular:

  • Einzelfallhilfe und Eingliederungshilfe: HIK Berlin e.V. bietet Menschen mit seelischen, körperlichen oder geistigen Beeinträchtigungen professionelle Unterstützung im Alltag. Ziel ist es, die selbstbestimmte gesellschaftliche Teilhabe zu fördern. Unsere Leistungen orientieren sich an den §§ 78, 90, 99 und 113 SGB IX und beinhalten alltagspraktische Assistenz, psychosoziale Begleitung sowie kultursensible und mehrsprachige Beratung.

  • Jugendhilfe: Als anerkannter Träger nach § 75 SGB VIII bietet HIK Berlin e.V. umfassende Hilfen für Kinder, Jugendliche, junge Volljährige und deren Familien. Die Maßnahmen nach §§ 27 ff. SGB VIII (u. a. §§ 30, 31, 35, 41) beinhalten u. a. sozialpädagogische Einzelbetreuung, Elternarbeit, systemische Familienbegleitung sowie präventive Angebote – kultursensibel und mehrsprachig.

  • Individual assistance in complex life situations

  • systemic counseling and social therapeutic support

  • Coaching and application offers for job seekers – also within the framework of AVGS measures

  • multilingual advice and support in various languages ​​(including Arabic, Kurdish, Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Armenian, Persian and German).
